Girdwood is a ski resort town and during the winter months the mountains ahead are used for skiing.
Girdwood is home to "Girdwood Forest Fair" (or hippy fair) during the 4th of July weekend. Vendors set up tents in the woods to sell things like food, clothes, jewelry, wood products, etc.. Paul and Devon are some friends we met at church who took us there.
There was also a live band and some dancing. The backdrop was beautiful.
